Mindfulness and the Menopause

Executive Menopause Coach (CPDUK)

Write about what you know …

I know about workplace stress – The Resilient Manager Toolkit™ is based on that experience.

I know about teaching stress – Develop Awareness and Resilience for Teachers™ is based on that experience.

I live with the menopause …

My journey with the menopause began over 20 years ago with surgery and since then I have experienced innumerable symptoms based on my lack of oestrogen.  One of the things that gets me through the trials and tribulations is mindfulness.

I have decided to share my story of mindfulness and the menopause with you, in the hope that I can be of some help to any of you who are experiencing a similar journey and finding it hard to endure. My story will unfold in the blog, supported by instagram and eventually, a podcast, webinars and other media.

Helen Morris

As a qualified Hypnotherapist, I engage mindfulness based techniques in my treatments and therapy, to support my clients. I have a special interest in Addiction & Recovery for Sobriety and the benefits of mindfulness and hypnosis to support a sustained, sober, healthy lifestyle.

Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one’s attention to the internal and external experiences occurring in the present moment. This process can be used in many different ways, to support the individual in all aspects of their life.

The Aware Mind is devoted to mental health and wellbeing through mindfulness practices for individuals, groups or organisations, supporting:

  • Mental wellbeing, anxiety and depression for individuals or groups.
  • Menopause coaching and support for peri-menopause and menopause – workplace or individuals
  • Corporate wellbeing and mental health strategies for stress management utilising The Resilient Manager Toolkit™
  • Developing Resilience and Awareness for Teachers™ an online programme to support teachers
  • Introducing mindfulness into your daily life to gain health benefits.
  • Providing coping strategies for the stress of being a parent or carer.
  • Supporting the bereaved following experiences of loss and miscarriage.

“After working in IT for over 30 years, I realised my true calling was in helping others deal with workplace stress and mental wellbeing, not computers, so I launched the Aware Mind.” Helen
