Group hypnotherapy is not a sober check-in, it’s an opportunity to experience some deep focus in your mind, changing your automatic habits and reinforcing your new behaviours.
Don’t worry, unless you want to, you will not have to share or even be seen in the session. I will always ask if anyone wants to share or raise a specific issue, but there is no obligation to do so.
The sessions will start with a brief introduction to hypnotherapy and an opportunity to raise issues or ask questions.
We will then begin with a short breathing exercise to allow you to relax and focus your mind, followed by a guided session of hypnosis.
During the hypnosis, you will feel completely relaxed and safe, and will discover that you can visualise your life without alcohol easily and without effort. That feeling of effortless control will stay with you after the session, and you can practice it throughout the Sober October month.
There will be 4 sessions in total – one for each week of Sober October:
